Engagelink – Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Engagelink, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part, do not use the platform.
2. Use of the Platform
Engagelink provides tools to collect and display community feedback, including surveys and interactive maps. Users must comply with these terms and applicable laws when using the platform.
- Admin Users: Responsible for managing engagement projects and ensuring content is appropriate.
- Public/Community Users: Can participate in surveys and view public content. No offensive, harmful, or inappropriate behaviour is permitted.
3. Content and Data
- User-Generated Content: Admin users control content shared publicly. Engagelink is not responsible for the accuracy of data or decisions based on survey results.
- Data Ownership: The organisation (e.g., local council) owns the data collected through the platform. Engagelink may anonymise and use data for internal purposes but does not claim ownership over user data.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Post unlawful, defamatory, or offensive content.
- Upload malicious software or interfere with platform operations.
- Attempt to access restricted areas of the system.
5. Privacy and Security
Engagelink will take reasonable measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee complete security. Please refer to the Engagelink Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use your personal information.
6. Liability and Disclaimers
Engagelink is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee that the platform will always function without errors, interruptions, or omissions. Engagelink is not liable for any damages arising from use of the platform or data provided by users.
7. Termination of Use
Engagelink reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms or engages in prohibited conduct.
8. Support
Support is available via support@engagelink.com.au. While we strive to respond promptly, we do not guarantee specific response times.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of Engagelink after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by Australian law, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Australian jurisdiction.
